* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern Indiana, Allen, Cass, De Kalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Huntington, Kosciusko, La Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, White, and Whitley. In southwest Michigan, Berrien, Branch, Cass, Hillsdale, and St. Joseph. In northwest Ohio, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, and Williams.

* Through Thursday afternoon

* Heavy rain is possible from this evening through Thursday afternoon. Saturated ground from recent rainfall coupled with any heavy rain that falls from slow moving thunderstorms could quickly runoff and create flooding. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches are expected.

* Rapid rises of streams, creeks and rivers are possible given saturated soils. Roads in poor drainage areas may become impassable with water flowing across them.

* Portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana, southwest Indiana, and west central Indiana, including the following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby, and Tipton. In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry, and Randolph. In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion, and Vigo.

* Showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected to overspread the watch area through this evening. These storms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall rates in excess of 1.5 to 2 inches per hour.

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 437 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Zionsville, Tipton, Westfield, Cicero, Whitestown, Sheridan, Arcadia, Meridian Hills, Kirklin, Atlanta, Michigantown, Williams Creek, Kempton, Eagle Creek Reservoir, Morse Reservoir and Castleton.

At 535 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain from thunderstorms in Kokomo where Washington Street, south of Boulevard, is submerged in water. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding has begun. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kokomo, Russiaville and Indian Heights.
