...A Winter Storm may Impact Central Indiana Friday Night and Saturday... A Winter storm is expected to push out of the southern plains on Friday night and push across Kentucky on Saturday. This may result in another significant accumulating snow for Central Indiana on Late Friday Night and Saturday before ending Saturday Night. At this time...Accumulating snows of 4 to 6 inches appear possible north of I-70. Furthermore...light icing...with near or less than one tenth of an inch is possible along and just south of I-70. There is still uncertainty in the forecast. The timing and the path of the storm may change in later forecasts. Confidence is high that a storm system will push through the area on Friday night and Saturday. However confidence on specific precipitation amounts...locations and type is low. This forecast will likely change...stay aware of the forecast and be prepared for possible winter weather watches...warnings or advisories. Accumulating snow and light icing could result in snow covered roads and surfaces and difficult travel conditions. Motorists should plan to use caution and allow extra time to reach your destinations if traveling on Saturday.
