Temperatures will climb in the upper 30’s and lower 40’s by mid-morning, transitioning any wintry mix over into straight rain showers. Break in precipitation for the afternoon with highs in the upper 40’s thanks to the return of southerly winds. Widely scattered rain showers looks to return this evening with more widespread rainfall tomorrow as a storm system overspreads the area moving eastward. A few isolated storms will be possible early Wednesday morning through afternoon. A few of these could be on the stronger side with gusty winds over 50 mph as the main threat. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible. – Meteorologist Anne Brown

Precipitation will develop west, eventually spreading northeastward with a few periods of snow showers between midnight and 9 AM tomorrow. This could produce a light coating on area roadways, so plan on extra time out the door for Tuesday. Widely scattered rain showers looks to return tomorrow evening will increasing chances for rainfall Wednesday as this system spreads eastward. Dry weather works its way back into the forecast just in time for Thanksgiving. – Meteorologist Anne Brown
