Tippecanoe County reports 640 new COVID cases

INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday, January 14, 15,926 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 3,599,575 including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated. 1,549,826 have had a booster shot. Locally, Tippecanoe County reports 108,031 have been fully vaccinated.

 According to ISDH, 1,425,877 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with coronavirus. A total of 19,491 people have died from the virus, with 97 new deaths.  Seven new deaths were reported in the WLFI viewing area:
  • Tippecanoe - 1 (total 330)
  • Howard - 4 (total 371)
  • Fountain - 1 (total 79)
  • Miami - 1 (total 132)

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (28), Carroll (35), Cass (68), Clinton (52), Fountain (19), Fulton (31), Howard (272), Jasper (70), Miami (64), Montgomery (103), Newton (30), Pulaski (21), Tippecanoe (640), Warren (6), and White (70).
