LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) — The remains of a Korean War veteran have been returned to Indiana, a homecoming 70 years in the making.
Army sergeant Stanley Dewitt went missing in action in 1950. His remains were finally identified as one of 55 boxes turned over by North Korea.
The people of Logansport lined the streets to welcome him home on Tuesday.

Everyone's encouraged to line the procession route.
