Tippecanoe reports 63 new COVID-19 cases

INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Tuesday, Aug 31, 3,720 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 3,115,791 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 3,094,764 including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated. locally, Tippecanoe County reports 96,813 have been fully vaccinated.

According to ISDH, 858,566 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with coronavirus. A total of 14,049 people have died from the virus. An increase of 69. Three new deaths were reported in the WLFI viewing area:

  • Carroll - 1 (total 25)
  • Miami - 1 (total 76)
  • White - 1 (total 56)

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (7), Carroll (12), Cass (28), Clinton (7), Fountain (4), Fulton (14), Howard (49), Jasper (15), Miami (12), Montgomery (20), Newton (4), Pulaski (5), Tippecanoe (63), Warren (9), and White (5). Further data can be found here.
