please call 9-1-1. 3the lafayette police department is one step closer to becoming fully staffed.this afternnoon two new officers were sworn in and 4 others were rpomoted.scott galloway was promoted to the rank of captain, brian clawson and randy sherer were both promoted to the rank of lieutenant, and justine hartman now has the title of sergent. the two new officer sworn are tyler gregory and robert hine.some higher ranking officers had this advice to offer those newly sworn in. 3<the most important advice that you can give anyone entering law enforcement is to realize you can't do it all by yourself and you need to have some thick skin. iit's all about learning it's all about taking that feedbak and using it to learn and move forward in to the next day. > the lafayette police department is d when they have 148 officers on duty.as of today the police department
