3 an 11-year-old girl pinned between a trailer and a fence in clinton county yesterday is recovering.she was airlifted to riley hospital for children her family spoke with news 18's marvin bills this afternoon.marvin how are they feeling? 3 i spoke with her grandfather today.he says she is full of energy and excited to participate in her first 4-h fair this year. 3<dan sneel: "i just hoped everything would be fine." on wednesday, 3july 10th an 11-yea was injured in an accident with a pick-up truck attached to a trailer.chief deputy todd lappin: "originally it just sounded like her head was stuck in a fence." chief deputy todd lappin says a family member was driving a pick-up truck nat pop with a trailer on the back and didn't see her. deputies say that's when the girl was pinned between the trailer and a fence, struggling to breathe. chief deputy todd lappin: "our deputies immediately started to hold c-spine on her to keep it in tack. because she was experiencing some neurological deficits." nat pop dan sneel: "she's got enough energy than ten kids." grandfather dan sneel says this was a tragic accident.dan sneel: "i had all kinds of visions what it was cause they said it kind of pinched her head and neck." sneel says she had a love for animals and was preparing to show sheep at her first 4-h fair.dan sneel: "all the kids got sheep. in fact last week she got to show in the junior nationals." he says he hopes that she'll still have the chance to continue her passion. dan sneel: "you just want to say get up lets go. but i hope she can do all of that again and do it better." chief deputy lappin says while accidents like this aren't uncommon there's still a take away.chief deputy lappin: "definitely, definitely be aware of your surroundings. be aware when you are backing up." lappin says the girl is expected to be 3in the hospital five to seven days.> 3 the chief deputy says he continues to get updates on the girl's condition from the family.her grandfather tells us, she's going to need a lot of prayers.marvin bills news 18. 3 the
