3 a family home is destroyed this morning after an overnighhouse fire in sheffield township.the fire started just before midnight. it happened on east 500 south - - right outside dayton.you can take a look now at the map on your screen.sheffield fire chief shawn alkire says the homeowner called in the fire after smelling smoke.he says additions to the home made the fire difficult to get into and put out.the cause of the fire is undertermined.the red cross was on scene to assist the family and the firefighters.no injuries were reported, but firefighters say there is smoke and water damage
