new at five - the trustees also approved to purchase the church across the street from the purdue memorial union.its at the corner of grant and north streets on purdue's campus.the church currently houses the anvil club.which is a non-profit organization that provides resources for student startup companies.the university is buying the property from the purdue research foundation for 2.9 million dollars.the chairman of the physical facilities committee shares why the university jumped at this opportunity. 3< "in a very strategic location and we would like very much to be able to potentially use that land for something that would augment what the university does"> lehman said they do not have any set-in-stone plans for the property yet.however he said there is a chance the existing structure could be torn down. 3 the hub apartments just off of purdue's campus has had a name change after being open for less than a year.the apartments are now called campus edge on pierce.the name change comes from the property being acquired by american campus communities, who also own chauncey square apartments locally.while the permit for getting the signage change permit was only 600 dollars. chad spitznagle says the process of actually changing the signs on the building was much more expensive. 3<the new signage that went on the building was quite large, i think estimated construction cost on it was about seven hundred twenty thousand dollars.>
