3>> some people who work near the south and sagamore intersection are looking forward to the intersection re- opening this weekend. while others say they think opening it back up, is a little pre- mature. news 18's demie johnson joins us now. demie why do some people think opening the intersection this weekend is too soon? >> they say it isn't ready yet. the road work will be finsihed but there are still a lot of small projects that aren't finished. those will cause delays and traffic shifts in other areas. #@venetia morris is ready for an easier drive to work. venetia morris: "when you look at the reality of what it is getting here, i mean you tell me really....i mean was it fun, was it an easy drive?" if getting to work is hard for her, she knows it's going to cause confusion for her customers too. once she's at the vitamin shoppe, morris has a few extra tasks to deal with. venetia morris: "just reminding them which ways you can get in, how you can access us because a lot of the times it's not advertised." that's why she was thrilled to hear the south and sagamore intersection is set to open back up saturday. venetia morris: "i am, i'm pumped...i'm super pumped." employees at beck's auto center are pumped too. robert hancock: "all of us business owners on 52 are anxious for us to be done and completed and opened up." president robert hancock knows how morris feels about the extra stress the project has caused businesses. robert hancock: " you know, making sure your customers are educated on how to get to us as they c traffic patterns." however he doesn't feel the same about wanting the intersection to open up right away. robert hancock: "don't open that thing...don't do it, do not do it." he thinks waiting would cause less confusion. robert hancock: "i think they should let it stay closed and let them finish out all the work that needs to be done so the traffic pattern will stay the same." @#>> i talked with several business owners today, most did not want to go on camera.however many people told me they have lost a lot of business over the past several weeks and are looking forward to the project wrapping up. demie johnson, news 18. 3>> 3>>
