accounting for chicago's lone run. 3>> moving on .. 732 pounds.. that's the total weight benton county powerlifter amanda cayton lifted in three events at the special olympics usa games in seattle last week .. and as a result .. cayton earned three gold medals and one silver .cayton returned to the area yesterday.no days off .. cayton got a lift in today. while out in the pacific northwest .. cayton posted top finishes in the squat and bench press and finished second in the deadlift.. cayton is widely regarded as one of the best power lifters on the special olympics circuit.prior to seattle .. cayton competed in the áworld games back in 2015 held in los angeles ..but behind the medals .. the 27-year-old cayton credits a lot of her success to her strength coach david black .. 3#@amanda cayton >> we've spent long and hard hours together. it's like non-stop, when i went to la we spent seven days a week training together. we're like a family. he thinks of me like his own daughter. david black >> for six or seven years, that is amanda to a t. hard work, dedication, there's times when she's come in here, been very tired, sore, fatigued, but i push her through it and she always responds.
