FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI)— Women in Frankfort celebrated their business successes Saturday by inspiring younger women to follow their dreams.

The 2nd Annual Women's Expo hosted 40 women-owned businesses for vendors. It also hosted inspirational speakers and actresses to present stories to community members.

Four students from Clinton County were also acknowledged for their outstanding work.

Event Coordinator Jamie Anderson said this program gives young women the chance to learn from others.

"There are many opportunities out there and I want them to ask the vendors how they got started and maybe get an idea for themselves," Anderson said. "If they have a passion or something they want to create that they can do it too, and there's money out there to be made."

More details on the event can be found here.
