White County man arrested in Florida after two week search

Keith Whitley Hurlburt, 28, was arrested Thursday in Vero Beach, Florida on a White County warrant.

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A White County man that deputies have been looking for since February has been arrested. Keith Whitley Hurlburt, 28, was arrested Thursday in Vero Beach, Florida on a White County warrant.

During a traffic stop on Feb. 22, deputies said Wolcott Town Marshal James Herre tried to arrest Hurlburt on a felony warrant. Police said Hurlburt became combative during the arrest and injured Herre.

Hurlburt then ran in an unknown direction. Police said Herre was treated for his injuries.
