WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Chirp. Chirp. West Lafayette's Tavion Woodard is headed to Ball State.
The senior defensive lineman announced his commitment to the Cardinals via Twitter on Tuesday.
This past fall, Woodard recorded 41 tackles and 5.5 sacks for the Red Devils.
Woodard's first and only offer came from Ball State back in April.
While Woodard was also recruited by several schools including Toledo, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky and Southern Illinois, he felt Ball State was the best fit to continue his academic and athletic career.
