WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A driver reaching for his cellphone lost control of his car, knocked down a tree and flipped his car on the roof, according to West Lafayette police. The driver walked away without injury.
About 8 a.m. Friday, West Lafayette police were sent to Yeager Road and Roxboro Street for a report of a car on its roof. Officer Glick said the man was driving southbound when it happened. Police said the man was the only person inside, and was able to exit the car by himself.
