West Lafayette boys, girls sweep Rensselaer Central in doubleheader

Snow, ice and wind didn't stop the West Lafayette girls and boys basketball team's from sweeping a doubleheader over Rensselaer Central Friday night.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Snow, ice and wind didn't stop the West Lafayette girls and boys basketball team's from sweeping a doubleheader over Rensselaer Central Friday night.

Dave Wood and the Red Devils defeated the Bombers 67-42. Matt Krause paced the Red Devils with a team-high 16 points. Gabe Klinker chipped in 15. Jaylen Gilbert finished with a game-high 24 points for the Bombers. 

Earlier Friday evening, the West Lafayette girls topped Rensselaer Central 51-45. With the win, the Red Devils improve to 12-5 on the season.
