FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WLFI) — Sage Hood put West Lafayette on his back Friday night.

The senior running back rushed for three touchdowns and caught another to help the Red Devils beat Bishop Luers to advance to the Class 3A state final.

After trailing 14-0 at halftime, West Lafayette scored 27 unanswered points to punch its ticket to Indianapolis, the programs first appearance in the title game since 2015.

No. 2 West Lafayette will face top-ranked Evansville Memorial at Lucas Oil Stadium on November, 24 at 3:30 p.m.
