WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — People took advantage of the West Lafayette Farmers Market Wednesday.
It opened for the first time this season.
However as we previously reported it comes with restrictions.
The farmers market manager said there were only nine vendors Wednesday, but in the coming weeks more will be added.
Shelley Foran said there were less people in attendance than usual.
She said people were enjoying what the farmers market had to offer for now.
"So happy to be out especially on a day like today," said Foran. "Finally. Although there has been some disappointed people that cant get any cookies from Great Harvest."
The hours for the farmers market are now 3:30 to 6 p.m.
The vendors set up at Cumberland Park.
