WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A West Lafayette City Council candidate is asking for a recount of last week's election. As we previously reported, Austin Bohlin ran against Incumbent Norris Wang for the district six seat. Wang won the race by just five votes.

Bohlin has filed a petition in Tippecanoe County Circuit Court to ask for the recount. Court documents indicate Bohlin believes the votes were not counted correctly and wants votes to be counted manually Bohlin also asked the votes to be compared to votes already counted electronically.
