TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Tuesday night's Wabash Township Board Meeting has been rescheduled. This is at the request of Trustee Jennifer Teising.
As we previously reported, controversy began to surround Teising after she fired Wabash Township Fire Chief Ed Ward. Members of the board then called on her to resign.
People then began to accuse Teising of no longer living in the Township, and moving to Florida. The township's volunteer fire fighters then boycotted Ward's firing by not responding to any calls.
Teising was supposed to present the township's annual report at Tuesday's meeting, but she asked for more time.
The meeting has now been pushed back to February 3rd.
