LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — McCutcheon beat Lafayette Jeff 10-0 on Saturday in the NCC quarterfinals; but it's how the Mavericks ended the game that made it exciting.

With one runner on-base in the bottom of the fifth inning, Parker Lamb crushed a home run over the left-field fence to make the score 10-0, ending the game (10-run-rule in fifth inning or later in high school).

It's also worth noting, McCutcheon pitcher Blake Sarjent threw a complete game, with eight strikeouts, allowing just three hits on 57 pitches.

McCutcheon moves on to the NCC semifinals with the win.
