What is usually our snowiest month of the winter?

Snowiest month of the winter (courtesy of climatologist Brian Brentschneider of the University of Alaska with data all from NOAA NCEI):

Snowiest part of January is usually early in the month in our northwestern counties & later in the month in our southeast & trends around the mid-point of January in the heart of the area. These also average to be the snowiest weeks of the winter, when the daily average is analyzed.
