Two people taken to hospital after garage catches fire in Benton County

According to the Otterbein Fire Department, two people were taken to the hospital, and another person who escaped was nearby the scene at a neighbor's house.

OTTERBEIN, Ind. (WLFI)-Two people are in the hospital after a garage caught fire in Benton County. 

It happened at 610 South Brown Street in Otterbein.

According to the Otterbein Fire Department, two people were taken to the hospital, and another person who escaped was nearby the scene at a neighbor's house.

Fire officials say the garage is a total loss but the connected house was saved.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
