LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Coronavirus is now affecting operations in two Tippecanoe County courts. Superior Five and Circuit Court operations are being conducted remotely due to positive COVID-19 test results.
According to a released statement, Tippecanoe Superior Court 5 temporarily modified operations to handle remote and emergency hearings only through November 16 after a staff member’s positive COVID-19 test.
Tippecanoe Circuit Court operations will continue remotely after Judge Sean Persin was quarantined while awaiting a family member’s Covid-19 test results.
