INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — Two teens will likely spend life behind bars for their roles in an Indianapolis crime spree. Zion Smith and Jaquisha Love were found guilty of numerous charges including murder back in March.
The Marion County prosecutor announced Wednesday that both have been sentenced to more than 130 years. Smith was 16 and Love was 18 when the crimes were committed one July night two years ago. They are thought to be responsible for multiple shootings and an armed robbery that happened over the course of three and a half hours
In total, five people were shot and one man died. Authorities say Smith's fingerprints were found at the scene of the murder.
