INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Thursday, March 18, 966 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 1,325,201 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 870,136, including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 675,388 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 12,495 people have died from the virus, an increase of eight. New deaths were reported in the following WLFI viewing areas:

In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (1), Carroll (3), Cass (8), Clinton (4), Fountain (0), Fulton (5), Howard (11), Jasper (6), Miami (6), Montgomery (5), Newton (3), Pulaski (0), Tippecanoe (25), Warren (0), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 131 active cases with 125 being students and 6 being employees. It has reported total of 5,501 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
