INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Monday, September 7, that 596 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to ISDH, 100,394 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 3,144 people have died from the virus, an increase of 4. There are no new deaths to report in the WLFI viewing area.
In the WLFI viewing area, new cases were reported in Cass (4), Clinton (2), Fountain (2), Fulton (1), Howard (9), Jasper (6), Miami (3), Montgomery (3), and Tippecanoe (19).
Purdue University reports 11,899 total tests given since August 1. There have been 291 total diagnosed cases.
