INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday, May 12, 852 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the Indiana COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 2,461,137 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 2,196,206 including the single-dose vaccine, are fully vaccinated. locally, Tippecanoe County reports 71,410 have been fully vaccinated.
According to ISDH, 731,810 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 13,028 people have died from the virus, an increase of 10. Two new deaths were reported in the viewing area:
- Jasper - 1 (total 48)
- Miami - 1 (total 89)
In the WLFI viewing area, additional cases were reported today in Benton (2), Carroll (1), Cass (8), Clinton (4), Fountain (6), Fulton (0), Howard (12), Jasper (5), Miami (1), Montgomery (1), Newton (2), Pulaski (0), Tippecanoe (10), Warren (0), and White (1). Further data can be found here.
Purdue University’s COVID Dashboard reports 28 active cases with 20 being students and 8 being employees. It has reported a total of 6,189 cases since it started reporting on August 1.
