TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Fire crews in Tippecanoe County spent the morning battling a large house fire.

The Wabash Township Fire Department was dispatched to the home on County Road West 600 North about 3:30 Monday morning. That's just west of Battle Ground Middle School.

Officials said when they arrived, the entire home was on fire. Firefighters said it looked like it started in the garage, although they cannot confirm that at this time.

A man and woman were both inside the home when it caught fire. The woman was in a wheelchair and was trapped at one point. However, both ended up making it out safely.
