LEBANON, Ind. (WLFI) — The Lebanon Police Department was notified Tuesday that three additional officers have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. According to a released statement from the department, this brings the total number of officers that have tested positive for COVID-19 to five. All five of the officers that tested positive are from the Investigations Division.
All five officers are not currently experiencing any symptoms and have been quarantined since their potential exposure. None of the officers have been inside the Lebanon Police Department or around other officers while awaiting their test results.
The Lebanon Police Department announced May 21 that two officers had tested positive.
