TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI)—The 54th annual Feast of the Hunters' Moon is ready and back in person for its 2021 celebration.
The event is held at Fort Ouiatenon historic park in West Lafayette. The festival will take place October 9th and 10th.
There will be well over 20 food booths available. According to organizers the Feast helps raise funds for more than 50 other area not-for-profits.
The event also brings in over 2 million dollars to the local tourism economy. Event Manager Leslie Martin Conwell said it'll will be great to have every one back experiencing history again.
"Any event that's gone on for 50 years has to have something special that is important to the community and important to the people that go as visitors or participants," said Conwell. "If I had to pick my one favorite thing it would be the canoe landing of the voyagers."
Conwell says The Feast will continue monitoring COVID-19 local, state and federal regulations for outdoor events. For information on tickets click here.
