LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Tippecanoe County Health Department is out with new directives for essential businesses.
Public Health Officer Jeremy Adler announced the directive at the health department's weekly pandemic briefing Wednesday afternoon. Adler said the list includes guidelines on social distancing, employee screening, social distancing, and encouraging the use of masks.
"These are things that are by and large required in Governor Holcomb's Executive Order, so they would be enforced through the same enforcement procedures laid out in Governor Holcomb's order, namely, the Indiana Occupational Safety and Hazards Board would be the main enforcement agency," said Adler.
The health department's new recommendations can be found below.
Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski announced the city of Lafayette is making about $400,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds available to some small businesses. Applications should be ready by Monday.
