WARREN/FOUNTAIN COUNTIES, Ind. (WLFI) - The Warren County Sheriff's Office has identified the two people involved in an alleged laundromat burglary on Friday.
Paul M. Leitem, age 34, and Natasha N. Leitem, age 32, both of Lafayette, were arrested for burglary, theft, and possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
The Williamsport Police Department and the WCSO were dispatched to the Williamsport Laundromat for a burglary that happened early Friday morning. The owner reported money and guns missing from the business to police.
Police got photos from surveillance video and posted them to Facebook. They said leads and tips from the community helped to identify the suspects.
The suspects and vehicle were later located at a residence on Covered Bridge Road in Attica. The suspects refused to come out of the house to speak to police.
Police said they got a search and after a brief standoff, the suspects were taken into custody.
In addition to the recovery of the stolen items, drugs and paraphernalia were recovered from the suspect vehicle. Both were taken to the Warren County Jail.
