WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—The event was organized by Joyful Journey, an adult day service.
This was the 4th annual Sundae Sunday event. The ice cream was provided by Igloo Frozen Custard.
Their goal for this community gathering was to give back and show thanks.
Games were available for kids like cornhole, and ring toss.
Director for Joyful Journey, Bess Witcosky, said the community continues to show support.
It's important to give thanks.
"We have some people that are coming just for the sundae and that's great," said Witcosky. "They're still going to see our name, they're going to know we are here, they're going to see our faces and get a warm greeting because that's what we do."
