WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Kylie Reif scored seven goals in 10 total games during the 2020 season. The senior team captain has already surpassed that mark this fall, finding the back of the net eight times in the opening seven games of the season.
Reif averages 1.1 goals and four shots on goal per game. That figure includes a hat trick against Kankakee Valley, and a two-goal night against McCutcheon.
Reif is committed to division two Francis Marion in South Carolina, where she will play next fall.
The senior attributes her success on the field this year to her teammates, and to the culture of the West Side soccer program.
"Honestly, I couldn't be more proud of these girls, shared Reif. "These girls have given me there everything and that means the world to me as a senior."
"This environment is so safe, it's so familiar," added Reif. "Everyone takes care of everyone and having that is so important when you're a part of a team...it makes it fun."
