INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) — The Indiana State Department of Health reported 474 more COVID-19 cases and 13 new deaths Thursday. The latest numbers show 3,039 cases statewide and 78 deaths.
The state says 16,285 people have been tested so far.
Four new cases were reported in Montgomery County. One new case was reported in Tippecanoe County. New cases were also reported in Cass, Clinton, Howard, Jasper, Miami and White Counties. A new death was reported in Howard County.
Wednesday, the state reported one case in Benton County. The number was moved to zero Thursday. Benton County Emergency Management said confusion by the state regarding the location of a rural address led to the wrong number. The address was actually in a neighboring county.

The state is reporting one death in Warren County. The local health department says two have died.
