Statewide Silver Alert canceled for missing Peru man

A Statewide Silver Alert has been canceled for a Peru man who is believed to be in extreme danger.

PERU, Ind. (WLFI) — UPDATE: Alert has been canceled.

A Statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a Peru man who is believed to be in extreme danger.

The Miami County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of David Nelson Ryan from Peru. David is a 62-year-old male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 240 pounds, brown hair with blue eyes.

He may be driving a white 2003 Buick Rendezvous with Indiana license plate AWP625.

David was last seen on Friday, October 4 at 4:30 pm. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
