PORTAGE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a Portage man who is believed to be in extreme danger.
The Portage Police Department is investigating the disappearance of H. John Blumenthal, a 74-year-old male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 170 pounds, gray hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a green shirt with a stripe across the middle, jeans, black shoes, has an eagle Navy tattoo on his right arm, a scar on his back, and an appendix scar.
John was last seen driving a silver 2010 Chrysler Sebring convertible with a black top and with Indiana plate 512LWZ.
John is missing from Portage and was last seen on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11:00 PM. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
