Shots fired at an apartment building near 11th and Cincinnati Streets

Lafayette police are trying to figure out why one apartment building on Cincinnati Street was shot at over the weekend.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Lafayette police are trying to figure out why one apartment building on Cincinnati Street was shot at over the weekend.

Lt. Scott Galloway said police responded to the building just before 7 a.m. Sunday. Police said there was evidence of bullets striking the building. They spoke to witnesses and found casings around 11th and Cincinnati Streets.

Police said no one was injured or struck. This case is under investigation.
