Lows this morning ran 55-63 over the viewing area with highs today reaching 79-83.

Couple shortwaves will just skim by tonight & tomorrow afternoon, which could pop a couple isoalted showers with cumulus clouds in our northeastern counties, otherwise it looks partly cloudy to mostly clear.

Lows tonight will drop to 55-60, followed by highs of 76-82 tomorrow with north-northwest winds 10-20 mph.

Tomorrow night, with calm winds developing & some patchy shallow fog, lows of 50-56 are expected.

Friday will warm up to 78-85 with LOW HUMIDITY still & a light south wind developing.

After 56-63 Friday night, highs Saturday should skyrocket to 87-93 with southwest winds 15-32 mph.  The humidity looks LOW, however.

After 66-70 Saturday night with a southwest breeze, the winds should decrease Sunday, but it will be humid with highs 88-94 with heat indices 91-99.  Both days look mostly clear.

Monday looks mostly sunny with highs 90-95 with heat indices 92-100 with southwest winds 20-35 mph.

Few isolated storms are possible Tuesday evening night & part of Wednesday.  Tuesday look hot, humid & windy with 91-95 with heat indices 93-100, followed by 82-88 Wednesday.

Thursday looks dry, cooler & less humid with 79-85 for highs.

The two periods of 90s September 11-21 makes for substantial warm temperature anomalies for the northeast 3/4 of the U.S.

Warmer than normal conditions dominate early to mid-October.

The front may become rather ana-frontal where the front undercuts the storms & then the showers & storms tend to then largely occur behind it. This set-up tends to diminish the better severe risk.

Areas to watch for tropical storms & hurricanes September 10-October 4:

1. South Texas/Northeast Mexico Initially

2. Florida to the Carolinas & East Coast

3. Baja California
