Storms shift north of our area by very early morning after isolated severe risk & potential of some locally-heavy rainfall.

Temperatures will remain steady at 67-73 for much of the area, but the north may see the temperatures rise to 67-70.

I went for mostly cloudy skies becoming sun/clouds with 20-30% coverage of storms Tuesday.  Highs should reach the very warm to hot & humid 84-90 range with heat indices 87-97.

Winds will be out of the south to south-southwest at 10-15 mph.

A few storms are possible in the morning (outflow boundary coming out of Illinois), mainly in the northwest & then again later in the PM, mainly in our northwest.

There is the risk of an isolated severe storm or two in our northwest later in the PM.

Wednesday looks partly cloudy with a variable wind from northeast to east & southeast to southwest as a weak surface high migrates northwest to our area.  An isolated shower/storm is possible, otherwise it looks dry with highs 82-90 with heat indices 85-94.

Front passes Thursday with a few showers/t'showers (30%), otherwise it looks mostly to then partly cloudy & dry (highs 76-83), followed by a nice Friday with 76-80 & lows 50-56.

Warm front moves northward Saturday with warmer, more humid conditions as southerly winds come in with risk of a few showers & storms.

Cold front passes Sunday with risk of some scattered showers/storms.

After nice weather of 70s to 80s Monday through Thursday of next week, some more showers & storms are possible Thursday night-Friday of next week
