September 3, 6 PM Weather Forecast Update

Some scattered rainfall, then drier with some severe risk, then late-season heat wave.....followed by nice, cool weather after mid-month...

Lows this morning dropped to 51-59.

Highs today reached 77-81 with low dew points near 50 to the mid 50s.

A couple isolated to spotty light showers are possible this evening-tonight (as virga or evaporating showers "seed" or moisten the lower levels to get a few more showers to the ground with time), followed by a few passing showers tomorrow morning.

Some scattered showers & isolated t'showers are possible tomorrow with 40% coverage.

With south-southwest winds 13-25 mph, highs will run 73-79.

Any showers will exit by mid-evening.

Sunday & Monday look good, followed by windy, humid weather Tuesday with 40% of storms late afternoon-evening.

Coverage won't be necessarily really high, but strong wind fields aloft support SLIGHT RISK type parameters for wind/hail.

Wednesday-Thursday weather looks great.

Friday will turn warmer, but the humidity will be reasonably held down.

Looks like a lot of heat September 10-16 with a late-season heat wave & near record lots of tropical storms & hurricanes. Florida, the East Coast, Northern New England & the Canadian Maritimes, Bermuda & the Caribbean will all feature substantial risk.
