After highs of 88-93 yesterday, highs today ran 87-92 & are headed for 88-94 tomorrow.

The humidity has been reasonably held in check with dew points near 65 today.  They should spike a bit tomorrow ahead of surface cold front & some developing storms.  Dew points to 70 are expected, leading to heat indices of 91-99.

Winds will be strong from the southwest at 25-38 mph with hazy sunshine & some clouds.

Storms should pop in a broken line or two right over the area & pass in the 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. time frame Tuesday evening.

A couple to few severe storms with wind & hail are possible.

Storm coverage should run around 45% with the storms being fast movers.  So, rainfall should not be widespread & soaking like we need.  Totals will vary greatly from some places getting a quick 0.75" to others seeing 0.05".

There is a SLIGHT RISK (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather for the viewing area.

Wednesday looks better & less humid, while Thursday may have an isolated shower/storm as front goes back north as a warm front.

It will turn warmer & more humid Thursday.

Next weekend to early in the following week looks muggy with dew points reaching 70-74 with highs near 90 to the mid 90s with heat indices 90s to lower 100s.

Strong cold front should pass Tuesday, September 21 late in the day with a broken line of storms.  MARGINAL to SLIGHT RISK parameters show up.

A couple of nights in the 40s with highs in the upper 60s to 70s should follow.
