LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — WLFI's final stop on the area boys golf senior spotlight is with Josh Frauhiger's McCutcheon Mavericks. The Mavs featured four seniors from the 2020.
Dylan Dexter was a four year golfer while at McCutcheon. He plans on attending Purdue in the fall.
Louie Wendall played four years alongside Dexter. Wendell is headed to IUPUI in the coming school year.
Rowen Farrell missed out on his third golf season. Farrell is also a talented basketball player. He will play on the hardwood at Marian University in Indianapolis.
And finally Michael Skadberg also a multi-sport athlete. He also missed out on his third year of high school golf.
Coach Frauhiger sent his seniors off with this message.
"This doesn't take away from who you are or what you've done for the program," said Frauhiger.
"It's just unfortunate you know. There are better days ahead, you guys are going to graduate college, you're going to have great families and you're going to be great husbands some day. They are just great people. So I tried to make that known as best as possible and I told them I care about them deeply."
"They are family to me."
