LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Tristan McIintyre, Kelsi Jones Rynard, Dave Ungaro, and Chris Mobley have something in common. All of them were set to begin their first year as head coach of a program that has since been cancelled due to coronavirus. Mobley was set to take over the Faith Christian track program this spring. He will miss out on the chance to coach two senior throwers that have each spent four years in the FC Track and Field program.
Abby Schnarr will attend Florida College in Tampa to study Massage Therapy and Photography.
Richelle Berry will attend Ball State this fall to Study Film and Media Communications.
Coach Mobley said that he never got the chance to coach these two, but that their reputation of dedication precedes them.
"Richelle also played basketball for a couple years and they were involved in a lot of school activities as well.," said Mobley this week. "You know they both had some high goals this year of going deep into the tournament."
Mobley and his wife Missy will jointly run the Faith Track and Field Program in 2021. Chris Mobley will also serve as the Head Cross Country Coach this fall.
