FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) — The Clinton Prairie softball program had two seniors graduate in the class of 2020, but head coach Randy Copper said they’re losing two major role models in their program.
Mikayla Hufford played in a utility role. Copper used a single word to describe Hufford. Dedicated. She plans on joining the workforce in Lafayette after graduation.
Cam Cornell was the starting catcher for the Gophers. She’s taking her softball talents to Taylor University in the coming school year. As a junior, Cornell toted a .465 batting average. She plans on studying psychology at Taylor this fall.
Good luck to Cam and Mikayla after graduation.
