TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - I-65 northbound was closed in Tippecanoe County for nearly six hours.
Dispatch told News 18 a semi crash near State Road 43 Wednesday morning around 6 AM caused the shutdown.
According to State Police Sgt. Kim Riley, a south-bound semi went through a north-bound median and down the opposite enbankment. The semi was hit by a north-bound semi head-on and closed down all traffic lanes heading north.
Crews were able to clear the roadway for reopening at about 11:30 AM Wednesday.
