TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — The 40th annual TASTE of Tippecanoe is just around the corner.
To get you ready for the big night, we're giving you a preview of the bands performing that night.
"Everytime we go out it's like a family reunion," said Scott Greeson.
For the last 15 years, 'Scott Greeson & Trouble with Monday' have been making music.
"It's Americana," said Greeson. "It's kind of like Zac Brown, John Mellencamp. We do a lot of original material mixed with stuff you'll recognize."
If it's not a song you've heard before, Greeson said, chances are you'll like it.
"We like to think our original material too is stuff that's easy to pick up on and that you'll be singing along by the second verse," Greeson said.
He said being at the TASTE is not just about performing with the seven-piece band.
"I'd have to say my favorite thing about the TASTE is just watching the people in the audience, and watching folks enjoy themselves while we're playing music," Greeson said.
After a year with no in-person event, he said the TASTE is more important than ever.
"People are hungry to experience music and art and food and togetherness and that's what makes this year special," said Greeson.
Scott Greeson & Trouble with Monday is performing from 10:30 p.m. to midnight at the Depot Stage at Second and Ferry streets.
The TASTE of Tippecanoe is Saturday, July 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
If you can't make it downtown, tune into our live broadcast from this year's TASTE from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on WLFI.
