LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) -- Subaru of Indiana Automotive halted production on an engine line this afternoon, after an employee learned they may have been exposed to the Coronavirus.
News 18 got a copy of a memo from the company to employees. It said someone working in that area learned from a health organization that they had direct exposure to a person with COVID-19.
The person got the message while at work, and immediately notified their team leader.
SIA says they shut down the line and immediately started disinfecting.
The employee will go into self-quarantine for two weeks to be sure no symptoms develop.
